Manori Islands

Manori beach is about two kms long and fringed with palm trees and rows of seafront hotels. Both Gorai and Manori are safe beaches linked by a rocky headland and accessed across a small creek. Manori is located about 40 kms north of Mumbai and about 15 minutes ferry ride away from Marve. Manori and the nearby Gorai are quaint hamlets that faintly remind one of Goa with roadside chapels and churches and women in 'frocks'.

One can also visit the amusement parks Esselworld and Waterworld, which are a ferry ride away. These amusement parks are famous for their many amazing rides and slides and attract thousands of visitors everyday. The ferry ride to and fro is itself a treat for most people.There are some beautiful bungalows and up-scale homes used mainly as weekend getaways. Manori is also known for a number of all night parties that happen here.
