Dabhol Sightseeing
The Suruche ban, Dabhol creek and the jetty Anda masjid and the Chandikadevi temple are the sightseeing options in Dabhol.
Dabhol by the dabhol creek in itself is a great destination if you are looking for some alone time by the river and sea. However if you want to explore the surrounding areas then there are more destination than you can cover in a weekend!
Cross the creek in a ferry to reach Anjanvel. Visit the light house which offers a magnificent view of the ocean and the enron project. The Gopalgad fort a fort in ruins is also nearby. This is also a vantage point that offer awe inspiring views.
Guhagar the whitesand beach is ahead of Anjanvel. A temple town there many temples committed to various forms of Lord Shiva like Vyadeshwar, Talkeshwar, Udaleshwar, Balkeshwar and a temple of Ufrata Ganapati.
If you still aren't satiated then visit Velneshwar another very secluded beach 24 Kilometers ahead with a beautiful shiva temple and a practicaly empty beach.
