'Shivsagar' boat Club in Tapola is very popular for motor boats and scooter rides amongst water sports enthusiasts. If you are a trekking enthusiast Tapola is the launching spot to Vasota the most exciting jungle trek in Maharashtra. Boats are available at the Shivsagar boat club. Prior permit has to be taken from the forest dept.
Venna Lake is a major tourist attraction in Mahabaleshwar. nestled between the New Mahabaleshwar and Old Mahabaleshwar Venna Lake is about 2 Kms from the Mahabaleshwar market. Try strawberry and cream at one of the stalls near the venna lake.
