Around Diveagar..
Diveagar is on one end of the three Raigad beaches - diveagar Shrivardhan and Harihareshwar. Dighi is a 15 mins drive from Diveagar from where you can visit the famous Murud Janjira. Temples in this region is very famous and Harihareshwar is popularly known as the Dakshin Kashi. Shrivardhan beach is a small cove with a very calm sea and unlike Diveagar is a flat beach.

Harihareshwar is famous for a temple on the seashore. Thanks to this temple Harihareshwar started featuring in the tourist map of travellers from Pune looking for beaches near Pune. The temples in Harihareshwar like The Yogeshwari and The Kalbhairav Temple is worth a visit. Harihareshwar is surrounded by four holy hills - Harihareshwar, Harshinachal, Bramhadri and Pushpadri.
Kuda caves..
Slightly off the road at the base of Talegad fort is the Tale village where you can see the interesting historic Kuda caves from the king Shilahara's times. You can see caves carved out of mountain and also trek up the Talegad fort Vehicles can go up to Kuda caves
Murud Janjira
A trip to Murud - Janjira from Dighi, 15 mins from Diveagar, is what can make your Diveagar trip truely unforgettable. A 20 minute ferry from Dighi will get you to this formidable sea fortress. There are a few majestic cannons, which have their own names, and remind you of the many ships they must have destroyed in wars. You could also visit the janjira caves from here.
There are tiny cottages along the street who offer a hearty meal at very reasonable price, however one has to inform them in advance as the food is cooked on order. You will get an option of either a Chicken Thali or a Fish Thali in the restaurants apart from the vegetarian Thali. For dessert, you can indulge in the ‘Ukdiche Modak’ – the steamed dumpling stuffed with grated coconut and jaggery.
