Kelshi is a place of religious significance, besides having a long history. Kelshi about 10 Km north from Anjarle is frequented by pilgrims who come to the Mahalaxmi Temple and the Dargah of Yaqub Sarvari - a testimonial to Shivaji's secular outlook.
Just outside the village is a lovely beach, which stretches for 2.5 kms and the sunset here is lauded to be nothing less than spectacular.
Keshavraj Vishnu Temple
Keshwavraj Temple located 8 km from Dapoli in Asud nestled amidst lush green surroundings is Keshavraj temple, a temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. The trek to reach the temple is worth the trip. The temple houses a "Gaumukh" through which water flows down around the year.
Kadyavarcha Ganpati - Anjarle
Built in 1150 and later renovated during 1768 to 1780 this ganesh temple atop a hill invokes deep relegious fervour amongst its devotees."Ujwya Sondecha Ganpati" the Ganesh idol is a rarity with its trunk turned towards its right side. At a vantage point this temple is a tourist delight offering panoramic view of the surroundings.
Karde 20 Kms from Anjarle is one of the most secluded and tranquil beaches in the entire stretch of Dapoli beaches and extends far upto Burundi and Murud Harnai on either sides. The beach here is a typical Dapoli beach with a thin film of white sand covering the underlying black sand giving it a very romantic appeal. Karde is the ideal destination to head for if you are looking for a quite romantic weekend.
