Anjarle - Unspoilt Virgin Beach
Anjarle is one of the finest places in Konkan just 26 km from Dapoli. Anjarle is famous for the ‘Kadyawarcha Ganpati’ (Ganesh temple upon a cliff) and is the primary attraction in Anjarle along with the pristine Anjarle beach. The Anjarle Ganpati temple has a rare "Ujwya Sondecha Ganpati" - Ganesh idol with its trunk turned towards right and is frequented by devotees and tourists alike.
The major attraction in Anjarle is the Kadyavarcha Ganpati temple with a rare "Ujwya Sondecha Ganpati". A Ganesh idol with its trunk turned towards right. There is a pond in front of the temple and a small but beautiful temple of Lord Shiva. The temple has a stone staircase to reach the top of the temple. A vantage point it offers a panoramic view of the blue sea, Suvarnadurg Fort and surrounding hills and is frequented by devotees and tourists alike.

Parashuram Temple - Ade
Located about 10 Kilometers from Anjarle between Ade and Kelshi the Parshuram temple or Shree Bhargavram temple is a temple complex with five temples. The architecture of the temple is from the Peshwa regime. A fleet of stone steps takes one to the temple complex with each facing east. Ade and Chiplun are the two places in Konkan which house a Parshuram temple.
Anjarle is about 25 kilometers from Dapoli and the route to Anjarle is pretty straight forwrad. To reach Anjarle from Dapoli you need to take the Harnai road from Dapoli and take a right turn which would take you towards khem. After a 15 min drive you will see the bridge over Anjarle creek. Cross this bridge to reach Anjarle. Don't miss the view from atop the hill before the bridge, its magnificent!
Located about a quarter of a mile off the coast from Harnai port is the fascinating Suvarnadurg Fort
A rocky island, Suvarnadurg is about 8 acres big with stone wall bastions. The sea-gate depicts carved figures of a tiger, eagle and elephants and fifteen old guns have also been located in the fort. Suvarnadurg is cetainly a must visit during your Dapoli vacation
Anjarle Beach..
Anjarle is one of the secluded beaches in Dapoli. Anjarle has a clean beach with a cover of white sand and is surrounded by palms and trees. Located near an estuary of the river Jog, Anjarle beach is about two Kms long and is perched in one of the most picturesque locations of Anjarle.
